Ashley and Jon Wedding
What a beautiful day for a wedding! A bright sunny day was the perfect beginning for John and Ashley’s special day. The shoot started at a hotel where the men were getting into their tuxedos. Then off we went to Ashley’s home for some shots of the bride and her party. What a beautiful bride! The church was our next destination and what a beautiful church it was. A wonderful backdrop for this couple in love. The  day ended at the golf course with a beautiful reception and dance. Congratulations John and Ashley and thank you for letting me capture your beautiful wedding.

Miramichi
Over the holidays I took a couple of days to visit my old stomping grounds where I took my Graphic Design/ Photography course. The Miramichi River is world renowned for its Salmon fishing. This City in the heart of New Brunswick is full of friendly people and amazing picture opportunities. The Centennial Bridge has been captured in photographs thousands of times, so I wanted to put my own twist on this landmark built 48 years ago. So while waiting for a traditional turkey supper, at what is called the golden hour, I was able to capture a few shots of the bridge and the surrounding scenery. This old boat only adding to the beauty of this remarkable river.

EAGLES
It was always one of my goals to capture eagles in my lens. I have always thought these birds to be so graceful and majestic, yet so very strong. I was traveling towards Alma in search of eagles when I happened to look up on a dead tree in someones yard and there it was. This huge amazing creature perched there overlooking everything below him. I stopped the car and jumped out capturing a shot or two. Someone else came along and told me about a graveyard just before Hopewell Rocks that had an eagles nest. I went on to find this graveyard, got permission from the groundskeeper, who in turn showed me where the nest was located. I was so happy that there was eaglets in the nest, I could barely see them through the massive pine, but knowing they were there meant the parents would be flying back and forth feeding them. I was able to capture several shots that day as the parents fed their young. One of my most favourite shoots.

HENRY & TRUDY
I was hired by Trudy just a couple months before her special day, I had never met Henry until the day I arrived at the venue. Their wedding was taking place in a friends back yard. When I arrived I was greeted by Henry. He was such a great guy, making me feel right at home. This sweet couple soon to become man and wife were very appreciative of me being there to capture their special day. Then I seen the yard! Wow! I was very excited, this yard was alive with beautiful trees and shrubs and every colour of flower you could imagine. Hummingbirds were flitting around everywhere. I knew then that this was going to be a bright colourful, and beautiful wedding. A great time was had by all, such fun amazing people. The following pictures show the vibrance of the day.  I am very thankful to both Henry and Trudy for allowing  me the opportunity to capture their special day.

PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Heading to Prince Edward Island one day for a photoshoot I decided to stop on the shores of Cape Jourimain in New Brunswick. The view would not disappoint. This engineering marvel, the Confederation Bridge, which is the longest bridge in the world spanning over ice covered water at 12.9 km long. It towered above the shoreline where I stood, and I felt very small with its massive size. I knew I was going to capture some amazing shots this day. I set my tripod up eager to get started. I took several pictures, trying different angles and exposures. These are a few of my favourites. I hope you enjoy these and much as I enjoyed capturing them.

BUTCHER HILL FALLS
Introducing Butcher Hills Falls. After a two and a half hour drive from Moncton to Meadowvale Nova Scotia, a few wrong turns and a drive up a fairly well maintained dirt road, myself and fellow photographer from Dragonfly Photography found this gem just a hundred meters down a well worn path. Butcher Hills Falls is a breathtaking view to walk up to with its 50 foot vertical plunge into a deep pool, which then empties, cascading down a 20 foot rock slope. We spent a few hours capturing the beauty of this place. I really loved the fact that I not only got to photograph the 50 foot plunge, but the beautiful cascade as well, it gave me so many different angles and options for great pictures. This place really brought my creativity to life.

CHRISTMAS PHOTOS
I was very excited to do this shoot with these two little cuties. I had a great time shooting Mason and his family last year around Christmas time, and when I was asked again to be their photographer I was very happy to say yes! They had a new addition to their little family., a little Angel named Megan. Mason a sweet mannered perfect little gentleman, with blonde hair and the most piercing blue eyes, and Megan a dark haired, blue eyed  little munchkin full of smiles and giggles made for some awesome shots. As most kids, they are always shy of strangers coming into their home, but a little entertainment and the shyness soon faded and I had a blast spending time with them and capturing memories at this special time of year. I’m sure they will have so much fun on Christmas morning.
